IMPOSSIBLE to I aM Possible- a journey

The word 'Impossible' brings to forth a negative connotation in our minds. But have you ever thought that the word if broken down into parts connotes to 'I M POSSIBLE', Yes indeed nothing in this world is impossible, everything is possible if we know the ways to achieve the possibility.

Let me share a few cases of possibilities where the unachievable was conquered with sheer determination, dedication, hard work, patience, perseverance and of course strong will.

How many of us know that there was an autistic and dyslexic boy who went on to become a scientist of repute? Well here I am talking about the famous physicist Albert Einstein. Einstein didn't graduate, yet he discovered the photoelectric effect for which he won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921. He showed how possibilities could be realized if they have the potential to reject impossibility.

All of us must have read about Helen Keller, who despite losing her eyesight and ability to hear wrote several books and articles. She is an inspiration for many as she was the first blind and deaf girl to have completed her Bachelor of Arts degree.

For those who love cricket- Yuvraj Singh made a comeback in the international arena battling cancer. When things looked so bleak, dark and unfathomable, this wonder boy of yesteryears didn't stop and he challenged impossibility to show how the road to possibility was achievable.

Yuvraj in an interview claimed, he was inspired by another athlete the famous American cyclist Lance Armstrong who too battled cancer and emerged victorious from the path of impossibility.

Another inspiration for possibilities is Glen Cunningham. While his brother Floyd died, Glen was on the verge of death with almost eighty percent burn injuries in a fire breakout at his school. Just with his strong will power and focus he not only survived but struggled for years until he became the best sprinter in the history of America.

Each one of us need to build the courage within ourselves to challenge the IMPOSSIBLE to achieve I M POSSIBLE, only then we realise our worth as a human being.

Love
Sara
